So, have I mentioned how much I love LivingSocial?? Last night we went out to dinner and got:
- Seared Tuna and Avocado Bruschetta
- Asparagus with Shaved Parmesan and Balsamic
- Homemade Fettucini with Short Rib Meat Sauce
- Rigatoni with Fresh Tomato Sauce, Pancetta, and Pecorino Cheese
- Tiramisu
- A bottle of wine
The total was $22. Via della Pace has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I definitely recommend going if you haven’t been before.

Sweet Bao Fries with Black Sesame Sauce
This seems like a weird desserts but it’s actually incredibly delicious. They fry the bao buns, chop them up, and pour this amazing sauce on top. I highly, highly recommend.

Dinner at Whitman’s in the East Village
We had an amazing meal on Friday night that included:
- Fried Pickles
- Beer Sausage with Beer Soaked Caramelized Onions
- Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Burger
- Pan Sauteed Corn
- Milk and Fresh Baked Cookies
I wish I could say this was everything we ordered but it only accounts for maybe half of what we got.
Currently craving: Whitman’s Crack Kale and Fried Pickles
